TWO INGREDIENT DOUGH ROSEMARY ROLLS

Who knew that our Saturday morning errand would turn into a rosemary inspired lunch? Not me! But man was it delicious. We actually went to Lowes for a new lawnmower, but it was the first warm, sunny afternoon this Spring and it felt like EVERYONE IN NASHVILLE was at Lowes buying plants. So naturally we felt inspired to add a few of our own!

Since we are renting we didn’t want to invest a whole lot of money in plants or bushes that would stay with the house after we leave so instead we picked up two of our favorites - rosemary & lavender, and added them to some pots we had to put by our side door!

It didn’t take long for the rosemary to earn its keep! From the time we put it in the cart at Lowes Colin was dreaming of adding it to our homemade rolls, made with 2 ingredient dough. Here’s the recipe!

ROSEMARY ROLLS

1 stalk of fresh rosemary (!), or dried, we won’t judge.

1 cup Fage 0% Yogurt

1 cup of Self Rising Flour

A dash of garlic powder

Pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees! Mix the yogurt and dough together and then use your hands to kneed it a little while you add in the finely chopped rosemary. Then separate the dough into 4 sections and roll into 4 individual balls. Feel free to use additional flour while separating and rolling if it gets to be too sticky. Then put them in the oven for 25 minutes or until golden brown on top! Once finished add a little garlic powder on top to finish them off.

THEY ARE AMAZING YOU GUYS. Serve with a tomato soup, chicken noodle soup, or whatever hearty soup you love to make! We served ours with some chicken tomato veggie soup topped with some crushed almonds! AKA, whatever we had in the fridge but it was DELICIOUS!

I am going to be honest, we use this dough ALL THE TIME. Its basically the only way we like to eat our carbs these days. Let us know if you make a batch of rolls or bagels and tell us what you think!
